The Training - The Conclusion

This week had been a busy and very informative week for me. Last Tuesday, August 28, 2007 the 4-day Training Session conducted by Ms. Karen Stainbrook started. The training started on a high gear. Ms Karen knows the whole manufacturing cycle very well.

She started by taking us down memory lane how the product started and the likes. It is really nice to know how they started and how we are doing right now. Then she continued on describing the architecture of Product on a very high level description...to be continued.....

Random Pictures

It's been a busy week for me since the arrival of Sir Piet, Karen and Pierre. We've always dine out to some place where we can enjoy the food and have some nice chats. Tuesday we,Sir Piet, Karen, Pierre, Jan, Carl and I, ate at an Indian Restaurant but before our dinner we went to the Marina. It was a nice place with little boats. I forgot to take pictures of the indian restaurant but I was able to take some pictures at the Marina.

Wednesday, we dined-in at an Italian Restaurant near Hinckley's Town Center. I forgot to take pictures because it was cold outside...hehehehe

Thursday, finally I ate. We dined in at a Thai Restaurant. It was superb. I forgot my phone at my bag so I wasn't able to take pictures. Great Food! Thank you Sir Piet and Carl for all these treats...

First Sunday in UK

Today is my first Sunday in UK. I felt a little warmer today. I have colds and flu for 3 days now because of the weather. Its too cold for me and it is supposed to be summer here...hahahaha...I went to one of the biggest supermarket here in Hinckley ASDA and I enjoyed myself. There were lots of stuff to buy. I got Evian, the most expensive bottled water in Manila, bottled water, panjamas, eye mask and ear plugs, baked cheeze curls and food for my lunch. I paid 22pounds. I am staying in what they call here Bed and Breakfast. I have free breakfast everyday and my hostess, ROS, is very sweet and accommodating. Im beginning to adjust here. No pollution and dust! and Hammonds people are kind and generous. Carl, our contact person from Hammonds, has been a good companion. He picks me up from the B & B to Hammonds office then vise versa. I already know where to buy stuff so thats a good start for me. Enjoy some of the pictures i've taken today.

Also during the week I was able to eat finally PLUMS. Its like grapes but way bigger like 1 Plums is equal to 10 grapes. heheheh Delicious!

Yza's Baptismal

Last Saturday, August 11, 2007 I attended a baby dedication in Trece Martirez, Cavite City. It was the daughter of my bestfriend Ate Arlene Cudel Zafe. I was with my college friends namely Zernan, Kuya Tracy, Kuya Dante, Kuya Jojo, Ate Marichel and Rudy. It was a very fun-filled day. Eventhough it took us almost 10hrs for the travel time, it was worth it. Hope you enjoy our pictures.
